I have hollow spoke turbo wheels (993 part#)... noticeable difference when I have them on vs the winter 17s (boxster twists)

Yes the hollow spokes are about five lbs lighter. C4Ss in the states are solid spokes.

My brother's MY01 996TT came w/hollow spokes, I know because he munched one the other night driving on a flat tire and I'm trying to find a replacement for him.
