Has anyone used these guys: http://www.gmgracing.com/tuning.shtml
Looks like a great shop - I'll probably give them a try soon.

2nd for West End in Gardena. Darrin is a craftsman. Aren't too many people who take the time to get the car PERFECT. He understands suspension dynamics and does an amazing job. Reasonable too.

First of all. Thanks guys for all the recommendations. Looks like there are some clear favorites.
I have been to GMG Racing. They are right by the Santa Ana Auto Mall and if you follow Speed World Challenge, they run a 996. I didn't realize that did wheel alignments, but it makes sense if you think about it.
If I lived closer to Lucent or Arlen, I'd probably hit one of those two places up. I forgot to mention I am in Orange County.
Thanks again. Keep the recommendations coming if you have any recommendable experiences.

Hergesheimer does mine and they do a great job. 30 years experience and they run Cup cars too, so they really know the finer details of Porsche suspension tuning and setup. They use a Laser alignment / corner balance rack.

I didn't reply till I could report that Advanced Motor Sport in Carson (forum sponsor) did a great job on my 996. It tracked straight and true, and felt very stable, at 140mph down Nevada Highway 318 on Sunday

I will probably lose all credibility on this board for saying this, but I ended up going the cheap route. Went to Allen Tire and got the front end aligned for $89. Car drives perfect now. Previous owner must have hit a pothole on his way out. I plan to lower the car anyways with coilovers in a few months anyways so it did not make sense to spend upwards of $400+ on a four wheel alignment at a race shop. Of course, when I do, chances are I will go to GMG.
