Default H6Ws... always blown, LED??

On my 01 with Litronics, the H6Ws are constantly blowing out... i searched and saw people are using the LEDs. How is the life expectancy on these?? Will they last longer than a year?

Thanks,

Ross

PM Zookie on the Canadian forum, he just did the same thing you did and is in love with them. He can give you some more detailed info as one of his BMW buddies has been running the LED's in place of the H6W's for a while now.

lol thanks Omar... Ross if your lights are burning out all the time, you might have a "Short to Ground" or some kind of break in the insulating in the wires for the City/Parking Lights. You might wanna cheak the wiers first.

Anyways this is what i got http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...MEWN%3AIT&rd=1 they are great a perfect match to the Factory Xenon's

I got mine from: http://42draftdesigns.com/leds_pushturn.htm

BAX9S is the same as H6W and works perfectly in my 2000 Coupe with Litronics

Rookie question - what is H6W? If these replace the non-xenon fog lights I would really be interested. Not that it matters to anyone that I would be interested

The Fog lights are H3... i replaced mine with these http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...tem=8071638525

They are Yellow Lights, i think 2800K or something like that. The reason why i replaced mine with Yellow lights because they really help in the rain, coz the Blue Xenon lights are useless in bad weather. Plus it gives the car a Euro Look
