I put this person on my ignore list some time ago because his comments are mostly just worthless but was not logged in and therefore it showed his comment.
I have both a 993 and a 996 , I can speak from experience that both have a lot going for them.

That kind of stuff is do disappointing. Why is it that car guys have to divide themselves into tribes and start warring? There's Detroit vs. Europe vs. Asia, Sports Cars vs. Muscle cars. and Harleys vs. Metrics. Then factions appear with the tribes: Porsche vs. Ferrari, Viper vs. Corvette, and Boxster vs. S2000. And then, the factions split into groups: Air-Cooled vs. Water-Cooled, Cruisers vs. Racers, and Modders vs. Stockers. In then end you've got each individual drivers standing on his own soapbox proclaiming himself to be the Last True Keeper of the faith.
If you want to be hatin' there are plenty of people who oppose the car hobby in general. Why not pick on them?

Add me to your list 993, I LOVE cars. I love Porsche's, I love Bmw's, I love Benz's, I love my 300 zx, in fact there are at least 12 cars that I would love to have, so why hate on any brand or model of a brand?
The 993 vs 996 stuff is pointless, they are both excellent cars, and each has it's own problems too.

Now why don't you go for a nice drive and forget all about my comments. Just be careful with that gearbox, those things are as fragile as a glass catcher's mitt.
