Default First 911

Hey all, I'm considering purchasing my first Porsche. the only one within my current budget is a 1999. So, I've been looking at '99 911 C2. I've heard that since 99 was the first year for the 996, it had some issues/problems. My question is what were these issues, and because of them, should I reconsider getting a 99? Thanks for any help!

Try searching for the thread that was posted not too long ago...maybe a month back. Someone asked your exact question...general answer is the 99s are fine and to go for it pending good PPI.

Default Selling my First 911

Hi,

I just went thru the same dilema as you late last year. I waited over 30 years. Researched over two months and I bought my first 911 in December 2005.

Last week I got a job offer overseas and I will be selling my 99 C2 996 in the next few weeks.

Mine is Metalic Black with Black full leather interior.
39K miles. Dealer serviced
The car has 1.5 year left on the Porchse CPO warranty.
17 inch rims with new Continental Sport tires.
I have an extra set of 19 in Carrera S rims (never installed). Currently for sale on ebay. Item # 150017366133.

Email me if you are interested in the car or rims. Would love to pass on the product of my search to another proud owner.

Take care,
Al
