Never hit Shenandoah......so I can't answer that. God, I hope I never heard those shotguns go off! From what I hear it is one scary BANG!

Couldn't find it. Maybe it was over at Renntech.org

try posting there. Loren has more answers than Encyclopedia Britanica!

Let me know what you find out. It would be nice to have them in the up position. Kinda like proactive safety!

Try page 39-40 of your user's manual.

Says nothing in the manual about manually releasing them. Does your p39-40 say something that the rest of ours doesn't???

Here is the original Thread with the answer in post #19. Looks like it is on a different page depending on your model year.

Already seen (and been a part of that thread), but.......

That states how to retract them NOT extract them.

Wouldn't the "retract procedure" followed in reverse, allow you to extend them?

1) find a REALLY big hill
2) build a ramp, preferably out of steel, although plywood and lumber might work too....
3) drive down hill at ramp as fast as you can
4) enjoy the rollbars popping
5) brace for impact
6) realize it was a bad idea
7) exit vehicle, hunt Brett down for his stupid suggestion.
