That sounds like so many adventures in my childhood, albeit with less sophisticated technology.

I've seen an independant shop set off the rollbars. I thought they controlled it via computer. Can't remember how they were retracted. Given the .000??? seconds they take to deploy, I'm not sure of the advantage of setting them off before hand.

i mean bikes, skateboards, sleds in the winter, crazy carpets, rollerblades, etc... the list goes on.
