I think the stealer is trying to fleece you.
I very much doubt you need rotors at 30k miles.
car and driver reported on their long term 996 that they did i think 80k miles on that the discs were virtually indestructible (not pccbs)
as dell says, check the thickness left and inspect for cracks, but otherwise i would just replace the pads

The parts are about $320, I would pay them $450 or $500 parts included but $1300 for just front brakes and rotors - that's just robbery.
