hmm...you posted this thread because you wanted to get some opinions on price right? well...some might have said that you should pay less than the price you posted, but i think the most important thing is to know if this is the car you want.

As long as you are happy with the car, and if this is the car that you really want, go ahead. You are the one buying the car, people will give you opinions but you are the one making the decision. It seems that you really want a black 911 and you seem happy with it, so i say go ahead and dont bother with what we said. Just as long as you are happy ..

11K less miles, bigger engine, Face lift... for $3K extra that is money well spent. Not to make you feel bad but this is a great deal.

Is this the one with the rebuilt motor? If yes, how did that affect your pricing decision?

I have always dreamed of owning a mean looking black 911.
It is still an option for me to let it go and eat the $500 deposit.?

The car will be getting the PPI tomorrow.
I say let it go. then after you let it go figure out how much it will cost you to find a black one for 2k less.

Then when you figure out how much plane tickets, train tickets, PPIs, shipping, etc. will cost you, add your time at say $10 an hour (yes I know you make much less than $10 an hour ) , then, figure out if you would have paid too much.

OR,

Do the computation before you let it go, then decide if you are overpaying.

Done deal at this point. I got the price down to $42,250. My thoughts were the same as yours Tom R.
I cannot wait as I pick the car up FRI!!!! I am so looking forward to that 1.5hr drive home.
