Water pump and expansion tank re & re
How much should it cost to replace the water pump, serpentine belt, thermostat and expansion tank on a '99 996 C2?
My shop has quoted me $2200 CDN (about $2000 USD) including new coolant, labor and everything.
This seems like a lot to me, but I know the parts aren't exactly easy to get at...
What do you guys think? Anyone done similar repairs recently?

Get the parts from sunset for a lot less then the dealer and just pay for the labor. Dealer wanted 700+ to just replace coolant tank. Got tank from sunset for like 160 and did it myself. But even if I had my indie do it the most he would have charged is 120 for two hours of labor.
