Post High Performance Driving School! 10 spots left.

Hello All,

Once again I am writing to you to inform you of a Road One Performance Driving School. You may have seen earlier post regarding this event. I still have some spaces available.

I have confirmed our first two day, weekend event in mid-September at the Spring Mountain Motorsports Park in Pahrump, Nevada.

The date is Saturday, September 15th and Sunday, September 16th.

This will be a typical Road One event. You will get over 3 hours of track time per day. A maximum of 42 students broken up in to 3 run groups of 14 cars per group, ensures virtually traffic free track time.

Jeff Ireland will once again be our chief driving instructor. We will
also have instructors from VARA, SCCA, BMWCCA, ALMS/GrandAm and the
Porsche Owners Club. Each student will have an instructor available to
them at all times.

We provide 2 nights of hotel, gourmet meals on Saturday and Sunday, refreshments and full safety crews, including Fire & Rescue. All you have to do is show up with your car and a helmet and the rest will be taken care of. This is an all inclusive event.

A few weeks ago, I drove the route, toured the track, and inspected the hotel. All I can say is it will be an amazing weekend! The track is very technical --your car will be in a constant state of transition on this course. The only way achieve speed will be through smoothness and balance. The two days of experience you'll gain learning Pahrump will pay dividends on any track you drive. It was designed and built by its owner, veteran driver Rupert Bragg-Smith, as a teaching track.

You can download an in-car video view of the course at: http://www.bombaydigital.com/pages/b...ngMountain.mov

Pahrump is a small town with a friendly attitude and low-key casinos. And it's just 45 minutes to the Vegas Strip.

But the real entertainment, as always, is on the track.

Please let me know asap if you would like to attend this inaugural Road One event at Spring Mountain Motorsports Park.

Below you will see a letter from the VP of Toyo Tires comenting on our last event. Just so you know they are not a sponsor of Road One.

Regards

Jordan D'Alessio

Dear Jordan,

Thank you very much for the invitation to the recent driving school.

I wish to compliment you on the very professional mamagement of this driving event. You are obvioulsy very focused on providing the very best service, safety and driving instruction to your customers.

Having attended only BMWCCA driving schools in the past, I could immediately see the big advantage that you offer over other schools:

a)Track Time!
b)Much more time with qualified instructors.

Not only do you offer a lot of value for the money, but I learned more in one day from your school than I've learned from the last two club schools which were two-day events. You provided more track time in one day than my last two club schools.

Thank you again for the invitation, and I look forward to seeing you again soon.

Sincerely Yours,

David H. Taylor

Hi,

I've written about this school in the past and I can't recommend it enough. I've been to everyone, save one, and they just keep getting better. Jordan, the founder, is a real car enthusiast and works to provide everything a driver wants from a school, IMHO that is. Plenty of track time, usually more than you can handle. Loads of excellent instructors. Porsche experts, BMW experts, etc. Great catered food. Skid pad. Spacious time on the track, usually less than a dozen cars at once, with skilled corner workers and safty crews. It really is a top-notch school. The price for the one-day events is about $650. including hotel accomos the night before and everything except gas the day of. Sounds like a lot, and is, but I've always gone home having gotten my moneys worth. The two-day event coming up is around $800. I believe. E-mail Jrdan for more data.

I'll be there, as will my best frined and a number of other good friends who wouldn't miss one of these events put on by Jordan. For the record, Jordan and I have been friends for years, however despite my rave recommendation, we have no business or economic tyes...yet. Maybe if enough of you go, I'll go free.

Anyway, I've blown as much in Las Vegas with far less to show. My driving has improved dramatically since I started going. It's a great day. Two days should be awesome! I've been with my '81 928 and my '01 996, it doesn't really matter what you bring. You'll get good instruction and loads of track time.

Hope to see some of you out there. I'm glad to answer questions, as a very pleased student.

Best,

Josh

I attended my first Road One event at BottonWillow and am now counting the days until the next one. I am telling everyone with wheels "If you don't try this school, you will probably BURN IN HELL for all eternity"! Seriously though, I was beyond satisfied. I spent all day on the track rotating between three different instructors that "I" chose. It was a perfect balance of race theory and on track application. With emphasis on application. A definite must for all race enthusiasts...
