Default Jumpy oil pressure gauge

My oil pressure gauge is jumping around a bit on my '02 with approx 10k miles on it. This is occuring both at throttle as well as idle. I don't remember this being the case previously.
Please help; is this normal? Anything to be concerned about?
Any advice appreciated.
Thanks,
Paul.

My 01 C2 with 33K miles does the same thing. I just picked it up Monday after a clean PPI so I assume it is normal....noticed it from the first minute I left the shop that did the PPI, and supposedly they are the best in the area...let's hope it's normal huh?

Slight "jumpiness" is normal at idle but I have never noticed "jumping" of any type under load with my 01.

My gauge is steady--rises and falls with rpm-I don't think jumpiness is normal!

That's what I was referring to myself...rises (to 4-4.5) and falls (to 1.5 or so) with RPM's.

Normal correct operation depending on temperature and viscosity of the oil.

Maybe just a loose sensor wire or connection.
