Post Porsche pylons....now you have to pay for them

Finally received the Porsche COA for my RSA.

Inside the folder was the usual COA stuff, along with an order form for the brushed stainless steel Porsche desk pylon with your car's VIN #.
They want $79.95 + $5.99 S/H...3-5 weeks delivery.

Seem to remember an old thread regarding the pylons.

I got one with my 01TT, it just showed up at home one day in the mail...some later buyers of 996 and 996TT's did not. No one really knew when they stopped providing them for free.

I like the Pylon, but I don't think I'd pay $85.94 after writing a check for $130K.

They also included an order form to buy yellow Porsche post it notes; 10 pads for $25.00!

I think Porsche is going a little bit too far for the sake of revenue.

My '02 Carrera was delivered September 2001, and had a card in it that said you'd get one if you responded to the customer survey. I did, and got one a while later.
