I just replaced my rear decklid wing on a C4S with a GT2 wing. But at 75 mph the light in the dashboard came on for the mechanism. Does any have instructions/diagrams to help me fix this problem. Just dont feel like bringing it to the shop which is an hour away or the dealership. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

 

Believe it or not, I have the GT3 style aero kit wing which is fixed on the rear of the car. Everytime I start the car the light comes on. The funny thing is I ordered this stock from the dealer and the light still comes on. Apparently the dealer told me when the car was new that this was normal because I didn't have the motorized wing. You would think porsche would remove that light since I didn't have the factory type wing.

I did notice that there is a switch to turn off the wing for cars that come with this motorized wing. Did you try turning the switch off? If its off, try turning it on to see if it changes. Possibly you need to leave it in the up position when you turn your car on, because I know my light only lasts for about a minutes and goes off after the car is running. If all else fails, just remove the bulb so it won't bother you.

 

You need to purchase and install (5 min max) the following new harness: 996 612 070 51 Wiring Harness.
