NARROW BODY v WIDE BODY

Being that I wanted as much of a sporting feel as possible -- lightweight, minimal, I went for the C2 narrowbody.
IMHO, the only P-cars on which the widebody has actually been *necessary* have been the turbos. And, all of the "hardcore performance" Porsches, with the exception of the 959, have been 2wd.
IMHO, if it isn't necessary to make it go faster, then I don't want it on my P-car.

Of course it's a matter of personal preference. But, for me, nothing touches the look of the widebody 996 models. They have a lot of the voluptuous curves of the 993's, and have a very "purposeful" stance.
I just picked up my C4S today, and (being the proud father) have showed it to a lot of people, Porsche fans and novices alike. The long-term Porsche fans all know and love the look. But, the interesting reactions have come from people with just a passing acquaintance with the 911. They have universally commented on how much better it looks to them than most of the 911's they have seen. They don't specifically know what it is that makes it different, but they know it looks great!
My favorite view is directly from the rear. Flared hips and all squatted down. Beautiful!
I've had the car only 12 hours, but I'm totally smitten. An absolute dream to drive!

I have a c2 cab and a c4s and I must say that I like the looks of the c4s but because I am not a track guy, I actually prefer driving the c2 cab. The c4s is tighter, heavier, precise and more solid while I think the c2 is lighter, more nimble and fun. With that said, I get the most looks when I am in the c4s, hands down!

Narrowbodies, please, lighter and cleaner lines.
Widebodies are cool too, but I do not think the car's shape looks as good from as many angles, versus clearly looking better from dead astern. Especially the TT, best of all the 996 wing designs IMO.

While it is just two inches and thus one inch on each side, the difference is huge in the mirror. The c2 looks like it is missing several inches! But as I said before, I like driving the c2. On the highway, the c4s is much more stable and tight.
