Hello Everyone !
Hi All !
Just wanted to intoduce myself . I'm new to this board but have had Porsches in the past. My current Porsche is a 2002 996/C2 with Fabspeed headers, mufflers, B&M short shifter, Techart Suspension, tequipment side skirts, custom painted interior (speed yellow), and custom sound system. Looking forward to sharing and receiving info from all of you !

great looking toys--especially the 996 c2!
question: are you often hassled by police who are attracted by the bright colors on your 996? i love guards red and speed yellow but i'm afraid of the response from the cops!

Never have had a problem with my C2 . My C2 is even tinted DARK !?! but I Always get the second look from cops when out in my Acura Integra type R. I think what it comes down to is police officers can differentiate the guy who drives a 80K plus Porsche versus the guys who drive "tuner cars" ,who knows...what do all of you think ?!?

when i owned a 1979 guards red 911sc i got lots of unwanted attention from the cops and many tickets. i've done better with darker hues altho i miss guards red a lot!! <img src="graemlins/crying.gif" border="0" alt="[crying]" />
