How do you remove exhaust tips
Hi,
I had on this week-end project list to remove the exhaust tips to clean them up. I removed the nuts from the bolt that sticking down at the bottom of the tips. The tips can slide back and forth with the groove but I'm not sure how to comletely remove them. Should I tap on the bolt to make it come through the interior of the tips ????

Thats it. Just tap lightly and the bolt will pop up. The tips fit pretty tightly on the pipes so you may have to use a little WD-40 or other penetrant/lubricant. Once they're off, they're easy to clean and or polish. I had mine polished and they now look like chrome.
