radio/cd deck wont switch off

radio/cd deck wont switch off
got a weird problem with the deck.usually after the ignition key is switch off n on exiting the vehicle the deck wud automatically switch off.this morning it refuses to switch off even when depressing the on/off button.tried various buttons on the deck n even remove the face plate.,than tried switching ignition on/off several times,eventually after several tries,the on/off button finally works.anyone experience such a problem?

Hi,
A few days after I got my car, the volume would start mysteriously increasing, to the point where it was deafening (+30). Turning the volume **** had no effect, I had to shut it off.
Dealer replaced the head unit, all fine now.

Same thing just happened to me. The radio button stopped working and I had to take the face-late off. Now it is just dead. Time to go to the shop.
