I have found that at LEGAL highway speed the speedo is about 5-7 mph off. I always cruise at 72 in a 65 which is really cruising at about 66/67. My portable GPS unit reports speed so I can verify it that way. I have also verified my speed by holding it constant for 1 mile and using a Tachymeter.

My 996TT is 3 mile higher then actual speed. I see it on the GPS and the road side radar speed signs. My 964 id dead on.
