rear seat rattles

rear seat rattles
Any suggestions on what to do about rattles coming from above the window areas of the back seat. They occur at many different speeds and don't seem to be related to the seat belts.

Is it above the rear side windows or below them?
Some pre MY2000 cars had a spacer block that needed to be replaced under the panel under the rear side windows that caused rattles.

It sounds as if the noise is coming from above the windows. Had my salesperson in the backseat as I demonstrated the rattles. He just grunted and said he would ask the repair guys about it. Have not heard from him yet, so I am looking for other's experience.
Are rattles the norm for the 2002? I don't recall this in my earlier Porches and don't have this problem in my Mercedes.

I get an occasional creaking from the rear windows, usually related to weather. Have been debating whether to leave well enough alone or have them reset it. Doesn't sound like a rattle as you describe, though.
