he was not from overseas. He was from blacksburg, VA. Police have his name, address and phone number now and are supose to contact him.
I had been emailing him under a different email address. Told him I was interested and was a cash buyer. He sent me an escrow agreement and asked me to make a deposit in www.escrow.com and that we could arrange a time and place to meet.
let's just say, I didn't know anything and made a deposit. How would he ever get that money. Buyer is given a certain amount of time to inspect the vehicle. He obviously doesn't have it, so how does this scam work? Am i missing something??

Maybe he has the exact same car as you have...and was to lazy to take pictures, write a list of options, etc etc......let us know how this ends...if you ever hear anything about it again!

He has teh same car alright. Even the same VIN number. This guy is a scam artists. He just registered with ebay and has no feedback. That's usually a red flag
