Default Can somebody recommend a good Indy or Tech in the DC Metro/NOVA area?

I am currently located in Reston VA, and would like to take my car in to fix an oil leak. Please see my post about "New owner w/ pics". Can anybody recommend a good place in the DC Metro/NOVA area that you trust with fair rates?

Currently, I have been quoted $1400-$1500 to replace the RMS and Intermediate Shaft Seal. I'd like to check with a few more shops before taking my car in on Monday.

Thanks in advance.

Try Funktion out near Dulles airport. The are relativly new, but very familiar with P-Cars. I think their labor is only $85-$90/hour. The main mechanic, Tim Cobian, worked on my cars when I wnet to Curry's, which is another good shop in VA.

I have always used Auto Sportssystems Group in Merrifield. Ed Swartz will answer the phone and is very helpful. 703.876.2811

Another vote for ASG at Merrifield, ask for Taylor to work on your car. He's a top notch mechanic.

How about around the MD area? I'm familiar with the VA Indys since I work in Tysons but I live in Columbia. Any recomendations near that area?

I had my clutch, flywheel, and Short Shifter installed at AtSpeed Motor Sport which is in Savage. http://atspeedmotorsports.com/
