Default FS: Bilstein Coilovers and Other 996 and TT Parts

This is posted in the for sale section also.
Cleaning out the garage and put several parts for sale on Ebay. I will give a 5% discount off the final bid on any of these items to Rennlist members. Items are located in Las Vegas.

Ebay Auction Link

1. Brand new Bilstein Coilover kit for 996 C2 2 wheel drive (bought for 1999 996 C2- I'm sure this will fit other years, buyer will have to check). I bought these from a private party last year for $1300- never installed. The installation manual that came with this kit says these are PSS9 (9 way adjustable with adjustable ride height) for 996 C2.
2. 996 Left/Drivers Side Headlamp Assembly 2002-2004. Used but in great condition. Non-litronic.
3. 2002 996 front fender. Drivers side. Has a small dent and light scratches- but should be easily repairable by any good body shop. This can be used for a facelift update for 1999-2001 996.
4. Porsche 1999 996 OEM Rear Decklid and Spoiler.
5. Porsche 996 Turbo Side Air Duct Bezel New OEM. For 2001-on 996 turbo. New- never painted or installed.
6. Techart 996 Side Skirts. Used pair with some scratches and a couple of small cosmetic cracks in the fiberglass (quarter size). Easily repaired by any competent body shop. Will fit 1999-2004 narrow body.
7. 996 Carbon Fiber Door Pulls. Used with some fading/yellowing in the clear coat. One very small crack and a couple loose tabs on the back.
8. 996 Speed Yellow AC vents and Upper Center Trim. Painted OEM pieces. Bought these on 6Speed from member "mikescg". Never installed these on my car- the center console on this is one piece and mine has 3 pieces.
9. 996 K&N Airfilter. Used for 1000 miles. Fits 1999-2004 C2/4.

The Bilstein coilovers are brand new in box, never installed. I did take them out of packaging to take some pics.

You might want to post the part numbers on these. If these are the same ones I ran the part numbers on, they don't match up with what's recommended for the front/rear for the '99 996. I checked several online dealers and none of them came back with the part numbers you showed. I think you showed F4-BM5-6803-HO and F4-VM3-5252-HO. Might save some guy from buying the wrong set. chuck

I just called and verified with Bilstein that the kit number for these shocks is F4-GM5-8846-H0 ( the part numbers I listed in the auction are the correct part numbers for the individual shocks and not part number for the kit itself). This is the PSS9 kit for 996 C2 and I guaranteed them to fit 2 wheel drive 996 from 1999-2004. The price for these online is between $2100 to $2500. This will be a steal for the winning bidder as the price right now is $800. Plus I will give an extra 5% off the winning bid to Rennlist members.

Is this coilover kit sufficient as it is or does it need to be complemented with anything else to have an appropriate PSS9 upgrade (I have stock right now)?

You could opt for a sway bar upgrade such as GT3.

Desert996- Did you conclude the coilover sale? Final bid? Is it a done deal or is the "5% off the final bid for Rennlister" deal open?
