I also have the most affinity for my basic seiko compared to my other more expensive timepieces.

Rolex GMT blue and red face most days.
Alternate is Omega GMT 50 year anniverday.
I love them both! Before I ad the James Bond Omega, but the service at Omega (swatch) has been a dissapointment last few months.

Another vote for Omega Seamaster, automatic of course. Daily worn and always in style whether diving, dressed up or casual.
My favorite is Daytona. Rolex submariner is nice looking but a little too bulky.

I like watches a lot and have one or two nice ones and several cheap watches I like even more:
Omega Deville Prestige Automatic (automatics are a pain in the a$$ - I don't care what the watch guys say)
Porsche Design P6612 PTC Titan Automatic (also a pain in the a$$)
Breitling Colt Ocean (I chose Quartz and love it! Best-looking watch face ever. Battery lasts 8 years!)
Timex Triathalon (I wear it to every track day)
Citizen Titanium solar-powered deal (The one watch I'd want if stuck on a deserted isle)
Swatch "Skin" all-black (Looks great with a tuxedo)
Personally, I think choosing a quartz watch over an automatic is as heretic as choosing tiptronic over manual. I prefer the heretic choices for both.
'02 C2 - driven daily, rain, snow or shine

I have couple of Omega SeaMaster Professional... The latest one is the new Ocean_Planet with black dial and thick black rubber strap. I love the sporty looking of these Omega watches.

I have a Seiko that my wife bought me 23 years ago. It has never been cleaned (internally) and keeps perfect time. The only down side is that I have to replace the battery every two years.

Rolex Daytona white face, Rolex Explorer 1, Polar Heart rate monitor & watch, for running / working in the yard.
I dont know why I keep the Explorer, I havent worn it since I received the Daytona. Every now and then I think of selling it, but I cant part with it. Maybe I will keep it for my son.

OK, I'll be the wacko. Don't own a watch.....period. Have never worn them, can understand the basic appeal, but the only watches that I ever go "wow
" about are the heavily jeweled Rolexes
