Track season is coming so I'm looking for a fire extinguisher plus mount on the passenger seat. After reading on a NASA newsletter about one car's fire mishap it's better to be safe then sorry. Who sells them and is it easy to install? Thanks in advance. Mike

I bought my Brey-Krause Fire Extinguisher & Mount from Windward Porsche in Putney, VT 802-387-4500. BK has their own website but I don't think you can buy direct from them.
Instalation is easy after you take out the front screws of the passenger seat. Once you tilt it back you can connect the mount so it will move back and forth with the seat.

Yup, Brey Kraus and a Halon extinguisher is the way to go. Easy to install too. Took me about an hour to install because I was trying to figure it out. Probably take me 20 minutes now that I know what to do.

Plus the Windward guys sell the dual bracket rather then the singles you see around. It will stay attached better!
I did have to use mine at my first DE in a Porsche. I worked just as advertised and clean up consisted only of blotting up the remaining oil! There was NO residue from the extinguisher.
Remember... little fires can turn into big ones!
