3 days, 2 men, 1 car. Exotic vehicles, motorsports mayhem, beautiful people, and the boys from Vivid Racing. This year Vivid Racing runs for Glory.

Vivid Racing will be running the US leg of Gumball 3000 from May 5-7 in their supercharged Porsche 996 Carrera. The 2006 rally hits 3 continents, 3000 miles, in 8 days. Vivid Racing has run this exclusive rally before in 2003 from San Francisco to Miami and in 2004 through France, Spain, and Morocco. With the huge success of media done on Vivid Racing, appearing in TV, the Gumball movie, and many magazines, this 2006 sprint from Salt Lake City to Los Angeles will be big.

Vivid Racing will start the rally in Salt Lake City. We will debut at the new Miller Raceway running the car lap after lap and then after catching a screening of the new Mission Impossible III film, we will head out to Las Vegas. Snapping pics, shooting video, and driving for the cause, we will end up at the Hard Rock Casino for a night of fun. Each Gumball car covered in stickers will be showcased at the hotel and then head out in the AM for a direct run to Hollywood where we will parade through the streets drawing all types of media attention.

As we run across the Western States in our Porsche 996, Vivid Racing’s Rob and Dan will be documenting the journey with extensive photography and video. The story of our journey and images will be published in several publications and featured on the VividRacing.com website. In addition, pictures and story will be found on numerous internet forums and ezines.

I made it to Rodeo Drv yesterday to see the Gumballers roll in. Was your vehicle #120?... If it was that is one sick exhaust you've got! I've got a little clip of your car (if it is 120) as it comes in through the finish line and formation.
