Post 100 Cell Cats

I have an X-51 C4S with the factory sport exhaust. What benefits should I expect by changing the cats from stock to 100 cell units?
Thanks for your thoughts.

Reduced back pressure and louder exhaust. I had a set of FVD 100 cell cats on my 996 before I sold it. I never dyno'ed the car with them on, so I don't know if it helped HP or not. I still have them, so if you're interested in them, e-mail me.

What are the rules/guidelines with changing out cats and are there any legalities involved?

From what I've heard this is very touchy territory...

Of course, I mostly ran them on the track and usually with the mufflers removed, so it would be a bit hard to tell.

I never had them tested in an emissions test, so I don't know whether they would pass or not. The good news is that it is only a 30 minute job to swap them, so you don't have to worry about it too much.
