Default Help-Locked Out

I am locked out!! My battery must be too low to power the locks open with the both key fobs. I have tried 2 key fobs, tried the driver door key lock and the extra small key. What do I do?
Car is a 2002 Carrera.

The dealer revealed the secret to getting into the car. The door handel is drilled out and voila'. The car then gets to have a new handle installed and painted.

You mean you can't open it by sticking the key into the key hole and turning? That's supposed to be a mechanical linkage I thought.

Which window is the cheapest to replace? Ha Ha. The last time I had a low battery and tried to start going down a hill, ( I had left it unlocked) the start didn't work. I pulled the E-trunk open and had 3' of cable in my hand. Luckily I got the engine compartment open to jump start.

Can't you connect power after opening the engine bay with the emergency release cable?

Only the front right. Is there a rear also? Can I get a panel off the lower portion of the car to get at any of the cables, front or rear?

wait..and call the dealer.....you don't want to damage anything before finding out if there is a simple solutions...you will bang your head against the wall if there is and you broke something.

By the way you should be able to open the door mechanically!! otherwise there is something wrong with your doorlock.

Yes, there is. It's located under the left taillight. Try to shove something in between the underside of the tailight and the bumper to enlarge the gap just a little. Then use a wire or a coathanger to fish for the emergency release cable. A flashlight will help you to see the cable. Don't scratch your paint though!
Worst case somebody has rerouted the cable already. On the other hand then it should be easier to reach as soon as you find out where in the left fender area it is.
Good luck,
Thorsten

Conventional wisdom says I should put the key inthe door and have it work. The alarm light is flasing so the battery isn't totally dead; it doesn't draw much current.
I'd kick the car but then the alarm would go off and then where would I be......

It must be a key fob issue. The alarm went off and was loud as a MF'er. Key fob when pushed flashes on the key but no response from lights on dash. Alarm has silenced but the hazards are flashing. I will now probably have a dead battery. Double F*&^%.

I am appreciating all the help.
