FYI, Iran isn't as much of a source as you think. Most of our oil comes from Iraq. In fact, we consume 80% of their distribution annually. Wonder why Bush was in such a hurry to get in there...
Just a guess on my part. The big differance between the older Porsches and other vintage cars and late model M3s is that the M3 will be used by most as their daily commuter whereas the older Porsches will typically be used as pleasure cars driven primarily on weekends.
