Alpha-Numeric Badge question
All Porsches have a numeric number assigned to them even though it has an "alpha" name. Examples:
Boxster = 986
Speedster = 356; 911; or 964
Carrera = 964, 993, 996
Carrera (84-89) was still called a 911 I think
GT2, GT3, Turbo, etc. were all 9series numbers
SO.........the 64 dollar question is: What is the numeric (number) for the Cayenne??
Boxster = 986
Speedster = 356; 911; or 964
Carrera = 964, 993, 996

I guess Porsche wouldn't dare give it a "9" series number...why pollute the brand.
"E1" appears to be a very "thoughtful" designation. <img src="graemlins/c.gif" border="0" alt="[ouch]" />
