That's cool. I can't wait to see what kind of deal they are willing to give us.

Unhappy NO luck..with brandywine

Okay you guys are NOT going to be happy.

Since brandywine's selling them for 1499, which is the cheapest in the business (so they claim and i think they are right) they can only give us 50 bucks off in a group buy...which is a joke ofcourse...
He (Paul) told me there was no room for any other discounts.

I guess I just have to dig in deeper and cough up the 1500 bucks.....

Sunset asks $1803...so even when they give us a 20% discount it will be the same as brandywine in a groupbuy

are there any other dealers who sell the PSE's at a good price..maybe we can try them

I'd love to know why it costs more this year than last year. Usually, as the cars are worth less, the price of parts goes down.

I understand this is "supposed" to be about the best sounding exhaust, but
what performance gains come with the PSE.......?

And $1499.00 includes the electronics, right?

No performance gains. I guess if you aren't going to install the electronics, it's probably best to get an aftermarket exhaust, because then you possibly gain an extra 10 hp and save approx. $500 over the PSE and supposedly some of the other exhausts sound similar anyway, although I'm not sure which brands/models sound similar and which are louder.

I have a call into Sun Coast, I have purchased Boxster and 996 parts from them before, I'll see what they will do; however, they are listing it for $1,799 on their site. local dealers are offring it for $2,100 so the $1,450 from Brandywine is still not to bad. Hope I can get some good news.

I just called them. They want $1750 plus shipping with electronics and $1000 plus shipping without electronics as a group buy. Which is down from these prices taken from their site as a screen capture (although it looks like they added $55 with electronics- lol) Oh, and by the way, he said that Porsche raised the price on February 1st and last year they sold the for $1300 plus shipping:

I'll call Pelican and Suncoast next.

Pelican is charging retail ($2100) plus shipping if and only if there are any located in the US that they can obtain, if they have to import from Germany they would be more. So they don't have any in stock and they can get them for retail or more than retail. Thanks a lot.

Suncoast in Florida wanted $1795 plus $23 for the switch plus shipping. They said a group buy has no effect on price.

No gains......NONE....?

Why pay a premium for NO gains when as you state you can get ~10hp for
less money.........??? <flamesuit on>
