2000 Porsche 996 Carrera 2 for sale
I'm selling my wife's beloved 911. We have a 8-month baby girl and decided it's time to get something more practical. Believe me, it was a tough decision!
Silver metallic coupe with black interior
6 speed
18" Turbo-like wheels (factory upgrade)
Trip computer
Rear windshield wiper - my wife wanted it
Upgraded factory stereo with CD player.
Xenon lights
Low mileage - 15K miles. No accidents. Purchased in May 2000.
Maintained with MB1 oil only. Just received 15K service at dealer.
Excellent condition. Original owner.
Asking $64K (Kelley Blue Book Private Party selling value). I live in Northern California near San Jose. Send me an e-mail at Benjamin_Lee@amat.com if you're interested. I can send you recent pictures of the car.

Don't do it! We had our infant in the back seat with her 4 y/o sister in a booster. Three years later we go everywhere together on weekends .

I 2nd this opinion, a new daughter is the reason I am selling a Corvette to get a Porsche in the first place. You have to be the coolest Dad in the 'hood don't you <img src="graemlins/bigok.gif" border="0" alt="[thumbsup]" />

BenLee,
I agree with the rest of the guys. Keep the car. I think getting a bigger car makes people care more crap then they really need.
Also, the second hand market is terrible right now. I am seeing 2000's for low 50's. Mabye your market is difference but not worth taking a beating in a trade in.
So, drive it for couple of more years and then when things look better. Then change it.

Another reason to hold on to it : A friend shopped his pristine 2000 loaded silver /metropol blue C2 Cp with 11K miles , xenons, 18 " sport radial wheels, full leather, CD changer , etc., at a few dealers in Bay Area a month ago . He was offered $50K -$51 K ! He paid over $80K new . He ain't selling, obviously .
