2000 C4 CULTURE SHOCK
I recently purchased my 00 c4. This car is so much different than my 88. My 88 has such a different feeling than the new p-car.
My 88 is like driving a go cart and the c4 feels like a fast sedan. I have not had a chance to take the c4 to the track to get a better feel for the real car.
Has any others experienced this feeling?
Thanks Tony Calvert

Hello Tony,
if you want to turn your car as a kind of go-cart The best thing is change the suspension. F.ex you can change the original US suspension for the Row030 Euro suspension, with H&R springs or Eibachs,(Also your car'll get lowered). The Bilstein are very good (advised for track), quite too stiff and harsch (kind of Go-kart as the olders 911). Or the Koni's wich ones you can lock and unlock the hardness (best compromise between track and normal drive), There's Ruf and Techart then.
I would say this is a must do to improve the handling of your car.

Well having done the ROW 030 suspension and Fabspeed exhaust etc- car feels like a go cart(friends have driven in it and say what a tite ride). And hopefully you'll get a chance to track the car because it's a workhorse : ). Regards. Mike
