The proper way to launch the 911 is by starting off in reverse. This provides you with the most torque available to the wheels. Once you obtain approximately 30 mph, a hard turn of the wheel should allow you to spin the car around and continue forward by shifting into 2nd gear. When you approach a stop light, apply the emergency brake and turn the wheel hard, allowing you to get into a backward position again where you start the process all over again.
This technic is particularly benefitial to those not wanting to risk wearing out their 1st gear synco's.
