Talking Help with Mods

I drive a 00 996 c2 convertible and has around 40Kkms on the car. I am thinking of chipping the car but there is no GIAC agents around in my area. I haven't seen any topic on modding with changing to a more aggressive cam....any expert on this field?

You will get the most bang for the buck with excellent tires and suspension as well as going to Driver's ED track events where you will get excellent training, and (if you haven't already been going), find that you can go faster, and do more with the car safely than you ever thought possible.....without a chip. Search the archives here for tires; suspension; DE. It works!!

If you want to get a GIAC flash done and there isn't any sellers in your area all you have to do is mail it to them. I had the same problem, and was initially afraid to ship the ECU, but after talking to Karl at Imagine Auto (one of the site sponsors) I decided to send the ECU insured through UPS. (Turned out to be a good choice with an EVO air intake.) It is simple to remove the ECU (about 15 min.) with the directions on the GIAC web page. Total turn around was 3 days.(could have been faster with over night shipping). If you have any concerns call one of the site sponsors (several to choose from) and talk with them, as they will be more than helpful.
