Default oil pressure flicks when idling

car is fully warmed up.
oil pressure flicks when idling around 1.5~1.6 very quickly.
i never have this(used to stay at 1.5 idling after engine fully warmed up),
and start got this after i did an oil change last week.

i also notice the tech over-filled the a little bit (about 3MM over the MAX line of the dipstick). should i go back and ask them to drain extra oil out?

I agree with tkerrmd. change the sender unit. I have replaced the oil pres.sender units before.
I dont see how that small amount of overfill would cause this problem.

Let us know if this takes care of your problem.
