Can PSM be added to a MY2001 996 post-delivery?
Has anyone heard of anyone adding PSM to their MY00 or MY01 (E-Gas) cars after delivery. It would seem do-able on E-Gas equipped cars. It was the only option I wish I had gotten that I didn't.

I am also wondering if the factory PSM can be fitted after-delivery as well on my 99 996 C2 coupe. I guess you never miss what you don't have. I could have sure used the PSM on my last off-track experience at Willow on the big-track...

I believe that for the MY99 cars it would be much more difficult due to the lack of the "E-Gas" throttle. Some call it "fly-by-wire" as it is non-mechanical. The MY99's have mechanical throttles (an actual cable connected from the pedal linkage to the throttle body) that would make it impossible for the PSM module to control throttle input, which I believe to be a function of the PSM system in addition to brake (ABS) modulation. For the MY99 cars you may be able to add the "TC" or Traction Control option that was offered in those production years. Though it is quite different than the PSM system.
