We are on the WWW, easily accesible to anybody, so I try not to publish anything too personally identifiable, so I cover the tags. Don't really know what harm the tags would do, but can't harm to hide it.
That's fine, but what could anyone do with your tag?
Are you going to get a rear spoiler? If you do, I will probably get the same one since you have such great taste. However, my first mod will be a short shifter.
That's a nice camera. 5.0 megapixels should allow poster sized prints.
Here's another at 30% size, on the dark side. Just toying with how to make those curves come out in pics.
Thanks for the compliment. I've been on a carousel ride with a list of mods I can/want to do with the car. The short shifter, probably B&M, is now permanently in the want side. Still undecided on the spoiler. Looks cool, but may have a negative effect on performance. Not that it makes a difference the way I drive, but just that thought that it does bothers me. Lowering the car is on the upside right now of the carousel ride and is currently keeping the short shifter company in the want side of the list.
I can see your P Zeros are not worn out evenly from your pics. Compare the tread on the center with the shoulders of the tires & you will see. The tread is obviously thinner towards the center of the tire surface - a sign of over inflation.
To confirm this, check with a new 996 with the same tire in any Porsche dealership and you'll see the difference!!!
good luck <img src="graemlins/burnout.gif" border="0" alt="[burnout]" />
You may be right, Lawrence. But, just to be sure, so that I don't go completely bonkers trying to find the right pressures, I've decided to continue running them at these pressures until I and Porsche are proven absolutely right or absolutely wrong. Will post pics at 7000 miles, and if the tires are still holding up, again at 15000. Gotta find use for the new toy. <img src="graemlins/burnout.gif" border="0" alt="[burnout]" />
your car looks great! <img src="graemlins/jumper.gif" border="0" alt="[jumper]" />
i do not plan any mods - the car is perfect as is!
i am not convinced that the middle of your rear tires are more worn than the sides from your pictures. perhaps it will be more obvious in a few thousand miles. mine look ok with nearly 7k miles at 44/36. time will tell. <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />
