If you like OEM lug bolts sticking out that much then its fine. Even Nicole @ Kinesis was surprised at those pictures, but then later found out that's how they've always been and couldn't do anything else.

Wow! Those lugs don't look right. Did Kinesis have lugs/bolts that can be ordered for those wheels?

Kinesis does not have lug bolts that sit flush for the 996 NB application. You reuse the OEM lug bolts and that is how they're supposed to look like. I believe the lug bolts sit a little better with the F110s made for the 997, but remember the offset was built for the 997 in mind which might be an issue depending on the tire size used.

sorry to bring up an old post, but I remember reading this when I was completing the solution to this problem so here is my set of kinesis wheels, bolt heads shortened by machine shop. Only way I could find to get rid of those ugly bolts sticking out
