Has anyone had trouble installing the Tequipment bar in their car? I?ve a MY99 and have been having one heck of a time trying to get the bar seated in it?s proper location. Almost seems too tall. I?ve purchased it used and there is no installation advice available. Any thoughts appreciated.

Hello, yes I installed the tequipment unit that also had the cross bracing. The bar must be placed into the car leaning forward and then rotated back. If you are doing this right, the very top of the bar will be practically ripping the rear view mirror off. It will sneak by but I recommed that if you can have someone help "coax" the mirror a bit you will greatly reduce the chance of it actually snapping off.
