Seeking Help RE Floor Mats for 996
I have a personal preference to having rubber/vinyl floor mats in my vehicles & it appears that Porsche only offers cloth carpet mats for the 996's.
I would appreciate any lead in my quest to finding good looking 996 floor pan specific rubber/vinyl floor mats.
Thanks,
Richard

Hi Richard,
Try Tweeks @ www.madirect.com, they have a rubber/plastic floor mat that is designed for the pan of a 996/986.
by the way, your signature at the bottom of your posts, you spelled boxter, but the correct spelling is boxSter.....

Thanks John,
The Tweeks mats are a hard flat ABS plastic surface. I'm looking more for a ribbed rubber/vinyl type surface.
Be well,

I purchased some from Autosport (1-800-726-1199). It was a pretty good fit (needed a little trimming). Keeps the carpet clean and the rubber/vinal looks cleaner than the carpet matts.

Some of the Autosport rubber mats look pretty good but are stated to be not available on the 2002 996's for some reason. I didn't know that the 2001 & 2002's had different floor pan configurations.

The Performance catalogue has clear vinyl mats with grips on the bottom that keep them in place. I like them because they're easy to keep clean and the color of the Porsche mats shows through.
