Hope all is well. It's a P-car, even they sometimes need a little R&R. Bet she's back in no time... And for now $ given the warranty.

The car is clearly rejecting the new front end. This is similar to when a body rejects a recent organ transplant and begins to destroy itself.

right Lowside...too bad the engine is in the back!! your sarcasm is maybe why you got your top sliced!??!

The P just had a 60K maintenance and engine was running fine the day before.....and I am happy that I bought the extended warranty.....I am using "the exotic warranty company" I read about them a couple of weeks ago on rennlist...a guy in Florida said he bought it and they went under, I checked this out right away, with the broker who sold me the warranty and with the company itself...and they guaranteed me they where fine...had some problems with licenses in a couple of states due to a law change, but this shouldn't effect anybody who already had the warranty...I called them when the P was in the shop and they checked my member # and told me to go ahead let them see what's wrong and fix it....we will see how it works out...will keep you posted.
Kind of think it is the starter.....

I just got the pleasure of flat bed service last friday morning. On the BQE and the left rear just starts making a terrible noise, followed by a not so good feeling at the wheel. Anyone who has ever been on the BQE during morning rush hour knows this is no place to stop, regardless.
Anyway, limp to a gas station, the right rear wheel is toast. Try to put air in it, you can see the air rushing our from the sides!

The flat bed comes and they lift it up, but not without scraping the crap out of the bottom of the car. (thank god for the engine protection plate). When its up on the lift, I notice a HUGE bolt sticking out of my other rear tire.
In the end, two dead rear SO2a's.

It is a sad site, though I did make all sorts of interesting friends while waiting!

After I had my 2001 for about 6 months I was driving and it just died... pulled over and had it flatbedded to the dealer. Turned out to be the alternator.

Of course the engine is in the back and of course the motor and the headlights are 99.9% unrelated, I was only making a joke.

Let's hope that is true. Last thing you want is "go ahead and get it looked at and fixed" then have them deny the claim. I'm praying for you

Keep us posted.

just wondering, but if it is in fact a starter as you suspect, wouldnt it be right around the same amount as your deductable to have it replaced? why bother with the warranty company?
