lesson learned, right??? It is times like this when (1) you are glad it wasn't something major; and (2) that you learned one more thing to check out in the future should it happen again. We live and learn.

In high school i was driving back from VT in my 1978 SAAB 99, and the car just died, like it ran out of gas. I got towed, left it at a dealer with a note. Beleive it or not, they were honest, and called the next day saying it was just a fuse and to come get it. Always check the box first.

Glad is was a simple problem (bummer it was a fairly expensive "simple problem") Just in case... What fuse was it and what were the symptoms? You said it had battery indications, did the starter turn?

took them a while to figure out what it was....and it was my own fault...I was installing the MP3 connectors to the Becker radio...and probably touched something that blew the fuse.... I just have to do what I am best at.....just have to figure out what that is!

Wow - congrats. That was the kind of outcome I was hoping for when mine hit the flatbed last December. No such luck tho.
glad yours turned out to be nothing.

thanks for the compliments Dell, but I can't even take a full 100% for the results..because my wife does most of the work....delegate and rule (is what she does!) I guess I am very lucky that people/companies are willing to pay so much money for a picture taker!! Sorry about offending you so much in my other post!!
