Does anyone have any experience with an internal dimple in a windshield caused by a pebble which skipped up off the ground. More specifically, the pebble caused this dimple with some hairline cracks around it but both inside and outside surfaces are still smooth (it's weird). Will those cracks grow?

YES...call your insurance company, they fix them for free....i got a chip a week ago and the windshield repair is coming in the morning.
