Now that the GT3 is headed to US shores and from it's specs which are simply awesome for a NA motor and it's track prowess. I'm always fond of Guards Red/Black Interior but also love Speed Yellow/Black combo as well. What you think? Also I know rear seats are deleted but is it possible to have dealer installed belts because wifey will not go for a 2 seater only car? Regards. Mike

glad you guys are finally getting the gt3 in the states i reckon you guys have been getting the bad end of the stick so far.just one thing though take it from someone who has 996 gt3,if you plan on using this car everyday to carry more than two people it wont work.the only way you will get someone into the back is by pushing them through the side of the sports seats or by them standing on the seat(i feel ill already) and climbing through the gap and plus thier asses are gonna get sore and hot if they do manage to get in the back.The moral of the story...get a divorce j/k

Greetings, Since I got THE call last week saying I should be in for a GT-3 in the 1st allotment & should be able to order this coming Feb/03. I was hoping to avoid premature "color" dreaming, but the topic's out there already! Sooo..Since I love my Orient Red Metallic on my '02 C2 w/ Factory Aero Kit,Savannah Beige, it's a maybe.. but shortly after I took delivery, a Speed Yellow Turbo & a special order Ferrari Fly Yellow turbo came in and almost "bit the bullet", then there's an articule in May '02 Excellence w/ a Peter Callahan P-car painted Avus Blue, since Porsche Metallic Blue wasn't available. Silver shades/while Very nice are all over the place.(IMHO). Let's hear it-What would you chose?

I have a Biarritz White GT3 with black interior and I think it looks great. And Carrara White is even nicer. But maybe Speed Yellow suits the GT3 better. Remember that when your tach slides past 8000 rpm, color just doesn't matter.

I had the dealer install belts in the back - no problem. I've carried many kids back there in comfort and even small adults for short distances. Yes, it's a squeeze getting through the door behind the buckets, but kids don't care. And BTW, it's more comfortable in back without those silly "seats".

 

how about Blood Orange?

If I am not mistaken is was a color available for the first run of 996GT3's?

Classic "RS" color for Porsche...and the GT3 is the modern "RS".

 

That would be Zanzibar Red. Actually not a bad color. It's certainly different. I almost bought one.
