Post Clutch Makes Mechanical Noise - Normal?

I checked out a used 996 recently & noticed that the clutch makes a very noticeable mechanical sound...you can hear with windows down (btw - I'm not referring to the normal clicking sound when depressing clutch pedal).
Is this normal?

I have heard my 99 996 do this from time to time as well. It sounds like something needs lubrication or something as it sounds like a slight creeking sound.

Depending on the year of your car there are a number clutch spring/pedal updates for squeaks and other noises.
