Fast Odometers
Didn't find out until the end of my lease on my 99 996 coupe that the speedo AND the odometer were registering faster mph than actual(not THAT bad)and more mileage than actual(REALLY, REALLY BAD).Registered 2800 miles more than actual over the term of the 39 mos. lease!
I understand there is a software fix for this now but both the dealer and PCNA claimed allowable tolerances etc. Check your car on a measured mile!
Mine was off by 7.03%!
Now the proud owner of an '03 Cab4 with 1200 miles under the car cover! Can't wait until April!

It is a well known fact the speedometer reads high, but it is said that this has nothing to do with the odometer. What is the source of your info that the mileage reads higher than the actual display on the odometer? Jeff
