Talking Just bought a cab

Hi everyone, I'm a new member and this is a great site. I bought a used 1999 996 c2 cab 6 speed triple black with 46,000 miles. Its a late 1999, produced 6/99 and sold new 9/99 so its still under factory warranty till 9/03. Its a high optioned car, MSRP was $95,000
1999 Carrera Cabrolet $74,460.00
options are as follows:
Black optional leather interior $3215.00
18" turbo wheels $1460.00
wheel caps with colored crests $ 170.00
Navagation system $3540.00
Hi fi sound package $ 600.00
Remote cd changer (6 disk) $ 705.00
Power seat package $1520.00
Heated front seats $ 400.00
Porsche crests in headrests $ 210.00
Black mats $ 110.00
Litronic headlights $1070.00
Headlight washers $ 225.00
Carbon fiber door sills $ 764.00
3 spoke steering wheel all leather $1510.00
Leather and aluminum shifter & brake $ 880.00
Leather package $2800.00
Rear console leather $1260.00
Stainless steel exhaust pipes $ 764.00
Delete hardtop $1465.00 credit
in the 4 weeks i've owned her this is what I've done:
Chromed the 18" turbo wheels and chrome lugs
Fabspeed exhaust (not on yet)
No accidents, no paintwork, no wear on seats
bought here in Las Vegas, Nevada for $45,000.00
I love the way it drives, can't wait to install the exhaust.
Its an awsome car and with over $20,000.00 in options I couldn't resist
hope I havn't left anything out

Congratulations and welcome Bob. Sounds like a great car!

We have an unwritten rule here and maybe you didn't know about it You can't just DESCRIBE the car when you post, you have to SHOW pics of it as well

Sounds like a great ride. We'll anxiously be wating for pics! <img border="0" alt="[bigbye]" title="" src="graemlins/xyxwave.gif" />

bought the car from an audi dealer, story was that the buyer of the deakership looked for months to get the manager of the dealership this car. The manager had the car for 1 week and the owner of the dealership told him that if he was going to manage his audi dealership then he has to drive an audi so they sold me the car for wholesale, he said thats what they had in it.
there's always a story, but it sounded good to me.
