I agree with you. I've seen this color in person and it's spectacular.

Default Wimbledon Green

Hi, I'm new here and have a Wimbledon Green 996 C2 Cab. To date I've never seen a second one in my color live, just some pics.

Cheers Harold

I looked hard for a Zenith Blue. Only found one 01 with high miles and passed but it had the full aero kit and looked great.

Bought that one off the lot, funny man...or else it would've been primer flat black like a 50's hot rod (some day when I have a job again I hope to make enough $ to force Porsche to paint one that color ).

Jorge,
Silver is not the German racing colour, White is. The myth of silver being Germany's racing colour came from the time Mercedes stripped their cars down to bare metal and polished them. However they were actually bending the rules.
If you look at any of the colour pictures of the Porsche factory team cars (as opposed to the "works" teams like Gulf and the original Martini-Porsche team), their base colour is always white.
Another titbit is that action by Mercedes gave rise to the saying "body-in-white", which actually means bare-metal. If you see in the Porsche parts catalogue the saying "body-in-white" it means the part will be delivered in bare metal.
Ciao,
Adrian.

If I can find the right one, my next car will be Cobalt. If I can't I'll default to speed yellow. We need some shirts or something that says something along the lines of "Add some color to your porsche".
