Default Pulling the Trigger on a Supercharger - Anyone Else Want One?

Its time... The white knight needs more power. So i hooked up with my good friends at TPC to do a supercharger kit on our 996 C2. They have a brand new software being released too that will work magic on the car.

If you have not seen their kit -
http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/p...ducts_id/14864

The 996 3.4L Supercharger Kit yields an impressive 378 H.P. and 343lbs./ft. torque to the tire! This makes 434 H.P. at the crank! (Rated on a 3.4L engine)

Anyways... If anyone is interested in doing a supercharger kit with me, let me know and I can hook you up very well, email me at dan@vividracing.com or PM for the special deal.

Here is the latest pic of my car. Cant wait for the POWER!!!!

Tom and Mike at TPC are great guys to deal with. I know you will be pleased with your SC. Take care of that beast. I got suspension to do before I think of adding more power.

Since you have been selling Evolution Motorsports intakes and have been doing some things with GIAC to your car, I am curious why you decided to go with the TPC setup, versus the evo supercharger? Cost? Power? Just curious.

Yes, I've been to your shop and talked with you. I am the one building my own custom SC system and we discussed the tuning of mine when it was completed. At the time you were not up on GIAC tuning for the Vortec SC I am using. Has this changed? I am alittle suprized that you went for the SC you did but sounds like fun to me maybe I'll come down and have a look see when get to installing it, let me know when you are getting started.

Mitty - Your looking at about 15 hours on the install. You can do it yourself if you have the tools and skills. Seems like a long time, but just some tedius details to follow.

Mother - Yeah I remember you! Yours coming along well? TPC will have their tuning solution available as well, unlike a reflash, this will be similar to a UTEC we use on STI and EVO's. Will be a plug that you can control boost, fuel and timing to tune yourself. Email me if interested.

I know we covered some tuning options as far as the computer goes and I think UTEC was one of them but it didn't suit my needs because I couldn't tune it that easy or something and I was looking for something that I could tune myself or one that had preset maps for additonal headers, exhaust or other engine modifications. Is the UTEC now up to the task now? Oh! PS my engine is complete but still looking for the donor car they all seem to be cabs recently.
